What's Happening...
New Venue~~ It's almost time for the 2012 Art in the Park, conducted by the West Suburban Artists’ Guild. The event will be held on Saturday, May 20th and Sunday, May 21st, at Austin Gardens (near Harlem & Lake) in Oak Park, IL. For more information, please contact Mary Meike or email troutt7@comcast.net
- At the May 1, 2012 meeting, new officers were installed and will begin their term of office in the next fiscal year which begins in September 2012.

- League members are welcome to attend the AFA Board meetings, which take place from 7pm until 8pm, on the first Tuesday in September, October, November, February, March, April and May. Location TBD.
- The AFA is in need of a News Editor. For more information, please contact Karen Encher Skala.
- The People's Resource Center is always looking for volunteers in the art program to serve on the advisory board, help with art shows and jewelry sales, or assist with classes! For more information, please contact Lesley Gena at 630-384-1345
